This allows for instant settlement on Ethereum and therefore enables its unification with the broader rollup ecosystem.What You'll Be DoingCI and CD for E2E Blockchain Components: Accelerate our core engineering team by developing CI and CD pipelines using platforms like GitHub Actions, for: smart contract deployments and upgrades (L1, L2), 𝚝𝟷 rollup node upgrades, Partner Rollups’ sequencer follower node TEE integrations, TEE prover infrastructure, 𝚝𝟷 AVS co-node upgrades, third-party ZK prover integration infrastructure, and automatic end-to-end testingMonitoring & Observability: Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack to ensure system health and performance.​Incident Response & Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain runbooks, on-call systems, automated failover strategies, and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtimeMaintenance: Manage said components across cloud and bare-metal deployments; currently, we’re mostly using GCP Compute Engine VMs.​Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for rollup nodes, RPC endpoints, and validator services using tools like Terraform and Ansible.​Security & Key Management: Enforce best practices for key management, validator security, and RPC protection with tools like HashiCorp Vault.​Scalability & Performance Optimization: Optimize rollup infrastructure for latency, throughput, and fault tolerance, ensuring seamless coordination between Ethereum Layer 1 and 𝚝𝟷 Rollup Layer 2, no matter which geography the user is in etc.Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with smart contract engineers, blockchain researchers, and network security teams to enhance our infrastructure.​Must-HavesCI/CD & GitOps: Experience with GitHub Actions or similar tools to automate deployments and upgrades.Containerization & Orchestration: Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized applications.​Monitoring & Site Reliability Engineering: Proficiency with monitoring, on-call and observability tools to maintain system performance.​Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation: Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools for reproducible infrastructure management.​Cloud & Bare-Metal Deployments: Strong experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar platforms for scalable blockchain infrastructure.​Execution Client Proficiency: Experience with at least running production (mainnet) Ethereum execution clients such as Reth, Geth, or Nethermind.Ethereum Ecosystem Experience: Hands-on experience with Ethereum L1 and EVM rollup/L2 technologies and a deep understanding of its ecosystem, including the Foundry toolkit for smart contract deployment and verification automation.Networking & RPC Optimization: Expertise in load balancing, rate limiting, and firewall security for RPC endpoints and validators.​Security & Key Management: Strong understanding of validator security and key management systems.​This is a remote role, but we only accept candidates from time zones between Eastern Time (ET) and Central European Time (CET).Nice-to-HaveExperience with Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs): Understanding of technologies like TDX, SGX or Nitro Enclaves used in rollup provers.Rust & Golang Development: Ability to debug and contribute to Rust-based prover infrastructure or Golang-based Ethereum clients.​Protocol Engineering Exposure: Experience working with optimistic rollups, ZK rollups, or cross-chain bridges.​Open Source Contributions: Contributions to Ethereum infrastructure, rollups, or core protocol development.​

If you're eager to contribute to a project that holds significance in the global Web3 landscape, check out the details below: What You'll Be Doing: Own and manage the entire QA function and team, consisting of QA Testers and automation engineers. Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies to ensure the quality of Shardeum’s decentralized platform. Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and suites. Conduct manual testing as needed, including: white box, integration, system and regression testing. Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate testing into the development workflow. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues until they are resolved. Perform regular reviews and audits of QA processes and standards. Participate in daily and weekly stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to keep Shardeum’s QA practices at the forefront. What We're Looking For: 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including 3+ years in a managerial role. Extensive knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficiency in creating and managing automated test scripts using automation tools. Extensive experience with manual testing, and meticulous in ensuring comprehensive feature coverage. You excel in problem-solving and debugging. Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies. A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and the role of QA within it. You demonstrate strong leadership, ownership and management skills. Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. We'd Love If You Have: Experience in the blockchain or decentralized applications space. You possess experience in programming languages like Node.js, Typescript or Rust. You’ve made contributions to open-source projects in the areas of QA and/or testing. You have a strong interest in Blockchain, Web3, AI, or Distributed Networks.
