Schedule: Monday – Friday(09:00 AM - 06:00 PM AEST)

 

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

  • At least 4 years of experience as an Application Support Engineer or experience with Web Application Frameworks (Laravel)
  • Experience in debugging code in Laravel and working with MySQL/MariaDB
  • Exposure to any application monitoring tool such as NewRelic and Datadog
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and deployment via CI/CD Pipelines

Nice to Have:

  • AWS Experience (specifically EC2, Redis, RDS, S3, SQS, Cloudwatch)
  • Previous experience in working in an Agile Environment is beneficial
  • Collaborative and innovative, with a CI/CD approach to improving current systems & processes.
  •  AWS Developer, SysOps Administrator or DevOps Engineer certification

 

What will you do?

  • Provide operational support and engineering solutions for client's systems and applications
  • Liaise with external partners, stakeholders, and development teams for support queries
  • Gather and analyze metrics to enhance performance tuning and fault finding
  • Manage incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and produce reports for major incidents
  • Participate in system design, platform management, and planning
  • Build and maintain sustainable systems and services through automation
  • Create and update technical documentation and maintain a knowledge base
  • Build and operate monitoring for security, availability, reliability, and performance
  • Analyze current technology and develop processes for improvement and expansion
