You’ll be involved early in process definition, breaking down complex workflows into streamlined systems that align with regulatory and industry standards.By leading the product operations lifecycle, you turn challenges into opportunities. You understand the 'what' and 'why' (led by PMs) and own the 'how' (with engineering and compliance) and the 'when.' Spotting dependencies and blockers early is key, with a strong focus on removing them quickly.Agile principles guide the process, but flexibility and iteration with the team are what truly drive results.A calm leader who can turn uncertainty into a clear plan is essential. You're humble and ready to get your hands dirty—you tackle tough work with loyalty and perseverance.Job Description:Control Function Alignment:Collaborate with risk, compliance, legal, finance, and security teams to ensure our processes are always audit-ready and regulatory compliant.Keep pace with evolving crypto & financial regulations and security requirements to mitigate risks and anticipate changes.Support the operational management and continuous improvement of processes that enable Deal Approval, Outsourcing and Third Party Due Diligence, Business Unit risk assessment, vendor usage and impact assessment, and emerging operational processes, as required.Business Unit Needs Discovery and ExecutionProactively identify and address operational requirements from different business units.Facilitate integrations, such as new market access (e.g., connecting a market-making desk to CME for futures trading) and ensure smooth execution.Oversee the technical, legal, and compliance aspects of such integrations, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.Evaluate and implement solutions when new clients (e.g., a retail crypto exchange) require trading and pricing services for leveraged instruments.Process Optimization and Scalability:Streamline and enhance product management processes to scale alongside our growing organisation.Proactively address inefficiencies and design solutions to improve workflows.Primarily manage, maintain, and optimise processes around Deal Approval, Outsourcing, and efficient cross-functional business operations; creating new processes & system where required.Documentation and Knowledge Management:In conjunction with relevant teams, build and maintain centralised repositories for regulatory documentation, competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and more.Develop user-friendly product documentation, compliance checklists, and security protocols.Cross-Department Collaboration:Foster collaboration between product, control function, and business teams to ensure seamless alignment.Promote transparency and open communication to drive efficient product development and delivery.Analytics and Reporting:In collaboration with relevant teams, monitor product analytics and generate insights to support informed strategic decision-making.Prepare and present progress reports, highlighting key metrics, risks, and opportunities.Special Projects:Lead initiatives addressing emerging regulatory or operational challenges.Support commercial/sales teams and client-facing teams with tailored training materials and product documentation.Background and experienceA degree is preferred but not essential; a mathematical or equivalent background is highly desirable given the math and trading centric nature of the role.At least 5 years of experience in business and/or product operations, compliance, or related fields, within the financial/trading/crypto industry.Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.Exceptional organizational skills, especially for managing regulatory documentation.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.While certifications in compliance are not required, qualifications in project and delivery management (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP, Agile) are a strong plus, showcasing your ability to manage and deliver complex projects effectively.Experience or familiarity with algorithmic or high-frequency trading environments will be highly regarded.Our recruitment philosophyWe value self-awareness and powerful communication skills in our recruitment process.
