The ideal candidate will monitor the ecosystem, evaluate governance proposals, and track opportunities to optimize yield generation in our treasury. This role requires a deep understanding of DeFi protocols, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to identify emerging trends that align with our strategic goals.   Key Responsibilities: Ecosystem Monitoring: Keep a pulse on the latest developments in the DeFi space, including protocol upgrades, launches, and emerging trends. Governance Participation: Analyze and provide insights on governance proposals across key networks, ensuring our strategic interests are represented. Opportunity Sourcing: Identify and evaluate opportunities for generating additional yield in treasury across a wide range of DeFi platforms. Risk Assessment: Conduct in-depth assessments of DeFi protocols, including smart contract audits, counterparty risks, and liquidity concerns. Performance Tracking: Measure, track, and report the performance of investments, continuously optimizing the strategy based on results and market dynamics. Research and Reporting: Produce concise, actionable research reports on DeFi strategies, market trends, and specific protocol opportunities. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to implement and monitor yield strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Experience: 1–3 years of experience in DeFi, crypto analytics, or a related field. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of DeFi protocols, including staking, yield farming, liquidity pools, and governance mechanisms. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret on-chain data, assess protocol risks, and evaluate yield-generating strategies. Technical Expertise: Familiarity with blockchain technologies and tools such as Dune Analytics, DeFiLlama, and Etherscan. Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. Adaptability: Comfortable navigating the dynamic nature of the crypto ecosystem, with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities. You will provide operational SME knowledge to ensure our systems are continuously working to a high standard and that new product offerings and enhancements are fully tested before being made available to our clients. Key Responsibilities: Serve as and maintain expert-level SME knowledge on treasury management and digital assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing best practices to secure digital and fiat assets while optimising treasury and financial processes. Support: Project requirement specifications Production environment testing for happy and unhappy path scenarios Create and own: Operational requirements and impact assessments Test plans, execution of production testing, and clear documentation of results Go live checklists and sign off Pilot and roll-out plan timelines Continuous improvement backlogs - tracking system/process improvements and prioritising accordingly with Product Work closely with: Product and Tech Teams to schedule testing to ensure efficient feedback loops on any issues discovered - support operationally on potential solutions Operations to ensure projects go live seamlessly - creating handover documentation/guides and running demos Identify and raise any blockers, risks, or issues on new projects - assisting with troubleshooting and resolution alongside Product and Tech to VP Operations Continuously grow knowledge around how operations works and how new projects are managed, built, and delivered cross-functionally. The Graph Foundation supports core contributors, enables community development, distributing grants, and leads decentralization efforts within the broader Graph ecosystem. The Foundation's mandate is to develop and grow the ecosystem to ensure the sustainability of The Graph Network.
