This role is ideal for somebody interested in Web 3 who thrives in a startup environment and enjoys working on multiple projects, with the ability to set up their own process and procedures.    Roles and responsibilities: Develop and oversee key partner relationships for organizational operations.  Build financial strategy for the organization that balances the complexities of operating in Web 3 with day to day business needs  Manage a treasury that may include multiple cryptocurrencies Manage various functions required for the smooth operations of the business including regulatory compliance, risk management, information security, wallet management, etc Create and implement cross team operational policies that are efficient and secure.  Ensure the Foundation runs smoothly. It’s a small organization that will grow rapidly, we need somebody to identify and create plans for needs and issues before they become emergencies.    Experience required: ​​5+ years of work experience in an operational role, preferably at a technology company or startup Hands on operational capabilities with advanced proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office, etc A clear communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively Budget and accounting oversight experience Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to google and figure out how to do new things. Whether this is using new tools like notion or github, or helping draft a validator runbook- we want somebody who has generalist sensibilities and the capacity to take on new challenges.   Our team is remote first and we are hiring across the world. The Graph Foundation supports core contributors, enables community development, distributing grants, and leads decentralization efforts within the broader Graph ecosystem. The Foundation's mandate is to develop and grow the ecosystem to ensure the sustainability of The Graph Network. The Finance team supports the co-heads of the Foundation and the council in Finance related decisions ranging from budget, accounting and treasury management. The role is directly reporting to the CFO of The Graph foundation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting or finance background who thrives in a dynamic environment and can drive impact from day one. The FP&A Analyst will be a key member of the Finance team. Wherever this person is located, they will be working remotely. Ideally, this person will be physically located in Europe, however for the right candidate the team is open to candidates in North America. What You'll Be Doing Financial Reporting: Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing, monitoring, and updating budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic planning.Cash Flow Management: Support cash flow analysis and planning to ensure efficient capital allocation.Accounting & Reconciliation: Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks, including ledger reconciliations, expense tracking, and accounts payable/receivable processes.Treasury Management: Support treasury management decisions to optimize financial strategy and resource allocation. What We Expect Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
